Farmers’ protest day 24: Haryana CM meets Tomar, unrest intensifies


Ongoing protests by farmers demanding an immediate withdrawal of the three farm laws that they fear would corporatize agriculture continued through the 23rd with no signs of change on Saturday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing an Assocham event, reiterated once again that the laws are benefiting farmers and not otherwise as the opposition is trying to project. I have said that this problem should be solved soon, ”Khattar said. Many farmers protesting the laws are from Haryana.

2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the reforms introduced by the laws are benefiting farmers. “The agricultural reforms started six months ago have started to benefit farmers,” he said.

3. Rajasthan MP Hanuman Beniwal resigned from three parliamentary committees in support of the ongoing unrest.

Four. Beniwal’s Rashtriya Loktantrik party has decided to lead a two lakh march of farmers from Rajasthan to Delhi on December 26.
