According to the notice, the Chilla border on the Delhi-Noida link road has been closed for the movement of vehicles near Gautam Budh Dwar.

“The Chilla border on the Noida link road is closed to traffic due to protests by farmers near Gautam Budh Dwar. People are advised to avoid the Noida interchange road to go to Noida and to use NH 24 and DND instead for Noida, ”the Delhi Traffic Police tweeted.

However, local police said that a road leading to Noida from Delhi via the Chilla border has been open since Wednesday afternoon, after protesting farmers switched their protest to the road from Noida to Delhi.

“The causeway from Noida to Delhi is closed. Yesterday farmers only opened one road, which is from Delhi to Noida, ”said Deputy Police Commissioner (East) Jasmeet Singh.

The traffic police also issued an alert about traffic obstruction on the Akshardham road to the Noida-Chilla border due to the overturning of a light goods vehicle near the Mayur Vihar Phase-1 overpass. Travelers have been advised to avoid the stretch.

Regarding the other borders, the traffic police alerted that the Tikri border, the Jharoda border and the Jhatikra border are closed to any traffic movement. The alert says that the Badusarai border is open, but that too, only for two-wheelers.

“The open borders available to Haryana are the borders of Dhansa, Daurala, Kapashera, Rajokri NH 8, Bijwasan / Bajghera, Palam Vihar and Dundahera,” the traffic police tweeted.

They said the Singhu border is still closed on both sides, while Lampur, Auchandi and other small borders are also closed. They have advised motorists to take alternate routes and that traffic has been diverted from Mundka Chowk and GTK Road.
