At a press conference on the Singhu border, where farmers have been camping in agitation, peasant leader Gurnam Singh Chaduni said the leaders will observe the hunger strike in their respective locations.
“Dharnas will also be held in all district headquarters in the country. The protest will continue as usual,” he told reporters.
Even as more farmers from Punjab and other states came near the Singhu and Tikri borders to join the 18-day sit-in, Union Minister Kailash Choudhary said the government will soon decide on a date for the next meeting, expressing your confidence that problems will be solved this time.
Five rounds of talks failed to end the stalemate and the sixth was canceled on December 9.
