After criticizing the media for their defamation in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, model and actress Shibani Dandekar has come out in support of Rhea Chakraborty. On Wednesday, Shibani used her Instagram to post a statement calling for justice for Rhea Chakraborty in the Sushant case.
Previously, Vidya Balan and Taapsee Pannu also defended Rhea and now, Shibani Dandekar has questioned the ‘torture’ of Rhea and her family by the media after Sushant’s death. She questioned how she was vilified on national television.
Furthermore, he mentioned that he saw Rhea’s mother’s health deteriorate after the accusations against Rhea and that Showik Chakraborty was “forced” to grow up.
Calling JusticeforRheaChakraborty, she defended Rhea and mentioned that her only ‘crime’ was loving a boy and being with him in his ‘darkest days’. Shibani added that she has known Rhea since she was 16 years old and that in recent months she has seen how the ‘kindest people’ in her family have been subjected to ‘unimaginable trauma’.

On a related note, the late Sushant’s father has made various allegations against Rhea in his FIR. Recently he even said that the actress ‘murdered’ his son on camera.
