Filmmaker Farah Khan thanked actor Abhishek Bachchan on Monday for donating Rs 1 lakh and supporting his daughter Anya’s Covid-19 charity campaign. To thank Abhishek, the filmmaker posted a photo sharing a “big hug” with the star.
The 55-year-old director took to Instagram and shared two photos. The first shows her hugging him tightly, while the second shows her daughter Anya holding a picture of a puppy with a banner around her neck that says “Thank you.”
The Happy New Year director captioned the post as: “Who gives you 1 LAKH for a sketch? Only @bachchan … who immediately doubles Anya’s charity drive! Thanks my crazy, crazy, big heart, crazy, bigggggg huggggg, who’s about to hate, I know, “along with a laughing emoji.
The post received over 28,000 likes and comments from famous followers, including Zoya Akhtar, among others.

Anya has been raising money through her sketches since the lock was implemented. The money raised through the auction of the sketches will be used to deliver food packages to those in need and feed stray animals as the national coronavirus-induced blockade continues in place.
