MUMBAI: leader of Maharashtra Eknath Khadse on Wednesday he attacked Devendra Fadnavis after leaving the BJP and claimed that the former prime minister ordered the police to implicate him in a “bogus” harassment case.
Speaking about how he “suffered” in the BJP, Khadse said: “The then CM (Devendra Fadnavis) ordered the police to register FIR against me for a false accusation of harassment by a woman. He said the case would be dropped further Late. Corruption investigations began against me in which I came out clean.
Khadse had been sulking ever since he was made to resign as minister in 2016 in the then BJP government led by Devendra Fadnavis over corruption allegations.
Earlier in the day, Minister of State Jayant Patil said Khadse will join the ruler NCP on Friday.

Targeting the BJP for the resignation of Prime Minister Khadse Uddhav Thackeray He said the party should think about why the cornerstones are falling when it is reaching the peak of success.
Speaking to reporters, Thackeray said that Khadse is “definitely welcome” to the family of the ruler Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) comprising the Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress.
