[Exclusive] Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro Specs Revealed: 28-Hour Battery Life, IPX7 Rating, and More



Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro key specs have leaned to 91mobiles by Ishan Agarwal ahead of the launch, which is expected on January 14 alongside the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. The new information comes shortly after the official website for the headphones was discovered on the web. A recent Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro price leak also hinted that the pair could be more expensive than the Galaxy Buds Live from earlier this year. The leaks have also revealed the design and key features of the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, such as active noise cancellation (ANC) and 3D spatial audio. Agarwal has exclusively confirmed to 91mobiles that the next Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro will come with 28 hours of battery life. This is roughly 20 percent more than what its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Live, offers. The headphones will come with 11mm bass drivers and 6.5mm tweeters with dual coaxial speakers. Additionally, the pair will tout 35db noise cancellation to support ANC, dual connection, and IPX7 water resistance rating.

Separately, the informant tweeted A few days ago the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro lacked “Double Tap Edge command to adjust volume”. He also shared that the headphones will support multiple levels of active noise cancellation, voice detection function, seamless connection and 3D spatial audio with head tracking. The latter will reportedly only work with phones running OneUI 3.0 based on Android 11.

Other reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro could feature special gyroscope sensors, Dolby Atmos, SoundAlive, Customizable ANC and four volume settings for ambient mode to adjust the amount of noise to enter. Each earbud is likely to have a 61 mAh battery, while the case will house a 472 mAh battery. The plugin app will also support the Find My Earbuds feature to help locate lost earbuds. The headphones are also rumored to offer touch controls.

As for the price of Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, it is expected to be EUR 229 (approximately Rs 20,600) in Europe. The headphones, like their predecessors, are expected to be included in pre-orders for Samsung’s latest flagship, which in this case will be the Galaxy S21 series. The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is said to be coming in black and silver color options initially. Other color options may be released later in the year.
