[Exclusive] Redmi 9i price in India revealed ahead of September 15 launch

Xiaomi announced today that the brand’s budget Redmi 9i smartphone will launch in India on September 15. Now before launch, we have received information about the Redmi 9i price in India from well-known insider Ishan Agarwal. According to Agarwal, the Redmi 9i India prices will start from Rs 7,999. He says that the phone will be available in two configurations, namely 4GB of RAM + 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM + 128GB of storage. While we can confirm the price of the first variant in the country, there is no information yet on what the latter will cost.

The insider has also informed 91mobiles that Redmi 9i will be offered in the same color options as the brand’s Redmi 9A smartphone, which was recently unveiled. This means that the Redmi 9i will be offered in Midnight Black, Sea Blue and Nature Green shades.

In particular, the My India Events Page has already revealed some of the key design elements and features of the upcoming Redmi 9i. In terms of design, the teaser poster shows a waterdrop notch, which is not particularly new for this price segment. The brand’s website has confirmed 4GB RAM and MIUI 12 ready to use. Since the brand markets the phone as ‘Big on Entertainment’, you can expect it to have a huge battery and a great screen. For the rest of the Redmi 9i specs, stay tuned to 91mobiles!
