The hotelier Gaurav Arya was questioned today by the Directorate of Enforcement for 9 hours in the Sushant Singh Rajput case for allegedly selling drugs to Rhea Chakraborty. He denied all those charges.

Gaurav Arya, who was questioned today by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, has denied all accusations of selling or selling any kind of drug to Rhea Chakraborty. He said he had met Rhea at a hotel in Goa in 2017 and exchanged numbers. Rhea, in a casual chat, spoke to him about drugs and he did not entertain her any more on that subject. The emergency department was not satisfied with the answers he gave and therefore they called him back for questioning tomorrow at 11 am. After questioning, Gaurav checked into the Trident Hotel at Nariman Point in Mumbai with his lawyer Manu Sharma.
Kunal Jani, director of a restaurant in Bandra with Shilpa Shetty’s husband, Raj Kundra, and Ranjit Singh Bindra (defendant in the Iqbal Mirchi case) was also investigated by ED.
Gaurav Arya was interrogated for nine hours and Kunal Jani for six hours.
Jani was part of a WhatsApp group that Rhea was also a member of. ED found this chat while scanning Rhea’s cell phone. Sources said Jani and Rhea were seen arguing about drugs like hashish and doobies. Rhea and Samuel Miranda’s messages regarding the doobies were also found by ED where they were talking about their out of stock.
Jani was questioned by the emergency department regarding the drugs that were being discussed in the group and if he was selling any type of drug and had supplied Rhea with it. Jani has also denied the allegations and could be called back for questioning by the agency.
