The minister also said that the dates have been decided considering the current COVID-19 situation and may be postponed if the situation worsens.
“We have decided the dates taking into account the current circumstances. But if the situation is felt to be deteriorating, then we will make a decision in favor of the students,” Nishank said.
“The safety of the children is the most important thing to us. We will have a meeting again if necessary,” he added.
Pokhriyal said the Ministry of Education reached out to 33 million students online and also conducted NEET exams amid COVID-19.
“The Electoral Commission also took advantage of this experience in the 2020 Bihar legislative elections,” Pokhriyal said.
He also commented on students facing eye-related problems during online cases and said they will get used to it. The minister added that the online classes started because students got angry at being inactive at home.
“To overcome the problems caused by this, we have created a platform. We have also prepared a plan to start classes from the next session. But this will all depend on the situation at the time,” Pokhriyal said.
As for the fee, the Education Minister said they have asked all states to consider the matter.
