Every vote for Asaduddin Owaisi One vote against India: BJP MP Tejasvi Surya

Tejasvi Surya, called Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, surveyed the BJP’s gateway to the south.

Hyderabad:

Tejasvi Surya of the BJP, campaigning for the Hyderabad civic elections next month, targeted a searing offensive against AIMIM leader and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi today, saying that every vote for him was a vote against India.

Accusing both Asaduddin Owaisi and his brother Akbaruddin Owaisi of “playing divisive and communal politics,” Tejasvi Surya, a BJP MP from Bengaluru, also accused AIMIM leaders of “allowing only Rohingya Muslims, not the development “in Hyderabad.

“Every vote for Owaisi is a vote against India and all that India stands for,” said Surya, recently elevated as president of the BJP youth wing.

“He (Asaduddin Owaisi) speaks the language of rabid Islamism, separatism and extremism that Mohammed Ali Jinnah also spoke. All Indians must stand up to the divisive and communal politics of the Owaisi brothers.”

The passionate BJP MP called for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections to be held on December 1, the BJP’s gateway to the south.

“Change Hyderabad today, change Telangana tomorrow, change South India the day after tomorrow. The whole nation is watching Hyderabad,” he said.

The civic elections in Hyderabad have turned into a high-profile competition with the BJP raising the stakes after winning an election for the assembly seat in Dubbaka, a stronghold of the ruling Telangana TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samiti) party.

Feeling the opportunity to consolidate its base in Telangana ahead of the assembly elections that will be held in three years, the BJP decided to do its best in the civic elections in Hyderabad, where the Owaisis have strong control.

“It is ridiculous that Akbaruddin and Asaduddin Owaisi are talking about development. They have not allowed development or a new infrastructure project in the old Hyderabad. The only thing they allowed is Rohingya Muslims,” Surya said.

He also mocked Prime Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao for promising to make Hyderabad an Istanbul, saying that he had an alliance with AIMIM because he wanted to make it a “Hyderabad of Pakistan.”

In addition to Surya, the BJP has recruited several national leaders to campaign in Hyderabad, forcing the state’s ruling party to respond.

Mr. Rao, alias KCR, published his party’s manifesto for the civic elections, in which he announced a waiver of concessions on water and electricity bills. He also urged people to choose between peace and community unrest, without referring to the BJP.

“Do you want a peaceful Hyderabad or do you want a Hyderabad where there is curfew, communal disturbances? You have to make that decision,” said the Chief Minister.

In response to Surya’s comments, KCR’s daughter K Kavitha, a legislator, said: “This so-called young leader wants to change Hyderabad, change Telangana and South India. I want to tell you, boss, open your eyes, Hyderabad has already changed. Amazon, Google have arrived in Hyderabad. In 6 years, 24-hour quality power arrived in Hyderabad, we have created a wonderful network of roads and infrastructure to beat any other subway. Hyderabad has arrived and it is time for Hyderabad to rule in this country. ”
