RJD Leader Shivanand Tiwari

New Delhi: RJD leader Shivanand Tiwari criticized the Congress party on Sunday for the poor spectacle of Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) in the Bihar Assembly elections saying that one must learn from their opponents.

Tiwari, who blames Rahul Gandhi for the defeat in the polls, said the congressional leader should stop behaving like a dictator and should learn from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Furthermore, he lashed out at the big party and said that Congress has not even managed to manage the seats where Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi led the party in Uttar Pradesh.

“They had put forward 70 candidates, but they didn’t hold even 70 public rallies. Rahul Gandhi came here for three days and held two rallies in one day, while Prime Minister Modi, who is 10-15 years older than Rahul Gandhi, held three to four rallies. What is this? Priyanka Gandhi didn’t even come, “said the RJD leader while speaking to Times Now.

Since the results of the Bihar elections were released, the Congress party has spearheaded several accusations, including manipulation of EVMS. The Congress has lost the Bihar by-elections by a large margin and not only in Bihar but also in other states. After losing the election, party insiders have cited their own mistakes.

“The elections were in full swing and Rahul Gandhi was having a picnic at Priyanka ji’s house in Shimla. Is the party run like this? Accusations can be made the way Congress runs, it benefits the BJP,” he said. the leader of the RJD.

‘Congress became a shackle for Mahagathbandhan’

Continuing his tirade against the Congress party, Tiwari went on to say that the great party became a shackle for the Mahagathbandhan.

“I think this is not the case only in Bihar. In other states, Congress also puts more emphasis on contesting the maximum possible number of seats, but they fail to win the maximum possible number of seats. Congress should think about this,” Tiwari said. .

Mahagathbandhan, led by RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav, won 110 seats, 12 less than the magic number of 122 in the 243-member Bihar Assembly. The NDA won 125 seats.

The RJD finished as the largest party with 75 seats, while Congress won only 19 seats. Of the 29 seats that the leftist parties had contested, they won 16, and the CPI (ML-Liberation) won 12 of them.

Nitish to take oath tomorrow

When asked whether former Senior Deputy Minister Sushil Modi will be part of the new cabinet, the head of JD (U) said: “Final decisions regarding the new cabinet have not yet been made. You will be notified once it is finalized.” .
