Bhumi Pednkera’s Durgamati trailer sets two different timelines with justice and revenge as themes that unite them. To catch the activist leader of Arshad Warsi, Mahie Gill’s cop focuses on a prisoner, played by Bhumi Pednekar. To enforce the line, they take her to the Durgamati haveli, only to discover that the palace holds more secrets than previously imagined.

As the ghost of Durgamati takes over, scares dominate the henhouse in this latest offering from producers Akshay Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. Akshay recently headlined the horror film Laxmii with a similar theme.
Durgamati underwent a name change recently. Formerly titled Durgavati, it has now been called Durgamati The Myth. No reason has been given for the name change. The film also stars Jisshu Sengupta and Karan Kapadia in prominent roles, and is written and directed by Ashok.
Durgamati’s new poster and teaser featured Bhumi disheveled in a partially erased bindi and dressed in a period costume and jewelry. Filming takes place in a ruined haveli and a chair shaped like a throne. “Aa rahi hai … Durgamati,” the actor wrote with him, while Akshay’s post mocked the film’s theme of revenge.
In October, Bhumi had shared a poster of her sitting in front of a door with a pair of eyes on her. “What’s behind that door? You will know soon, Durgavati will be released worldwide on December 11, 2020 on @primevideoin, ”Bhumi wrote in the caption.
Durgamati is the official remake of the Telugu hit, starring Anushka Shetty at the helm. The actor played an IAS officer who is haunted by the ghost of a dead queen in the film that revolves around the theme of revenge.
Speaking of the film, Bhumi had said before: “This is the first time that I am directing a film alone and it is exciting and harrowing. I have a lot of responsibility. I have been very fortunate as an artist and I am proud of my film career so far. So, I am grateful for this opportunity. “
Durgamati also stars Arshad Warsi. It will launch on Amazon Prime on December 11.
