University of Delhi, DU 2020 admissions will start at 10am today based on the first cut-off list published by various universities. This year, admissions have gone completely online due to the COVID-19 pandemic and students will not be able to enter colleges for any physical verification process. Now that several colleges have published their candidates, they will be required to choose a college and course for which they are eligible.

No students are allowed on campus this year, however the universities have made arrangements for the entrance of teachers involved in the admissions process. DU 2020 admissions: full process explained

Dean of Admissions Shobha Bagai said: “Once they make a selection, the data will go to the head of the university department and they will be asked to verify all the documents. Once satisfied, they will approve it and it will go to the Admissions Committee, the school coordinator and finally to the director. After final approval, the student will be prompted to pay the fee online and the process will be completed. “

  1. After the cap is posted, the candidate will be asked to choose a university and course for which they are eligible on their dashboard.
  2. As the university team explained, the cutoff percentage would be determined by the University Admissions Committee with the participation of the teacher in charge of the department in question.
  3. Candidates must complete the admission form in all aspects and this will be duly verified and examined by the members of the respective online committees.
  4. The admissions coordinator would be checking and recommending admissions cases, after which the principal would finally approve it.
  5. In the event that the school rejects a candidate, you must make a comment or provide the reason for doing so.
  6. The next cutoff will be declared once all admissions are completed within published limits

DU Admissions 2020: List of Documents

Candidates would have to upload the following documents along with the application form for verification and scrutiny:

  1. Class 12 exam grade sheet or grade sheet and passing certificate clearly mentioning grades earned and subjects taken.
  2. Grade sheet for the tenth class and certificate of passing as proof of age
  3. Caste Certificate / EWS Certificate (as applicable)
  4. School transfer certificate
  5. Board migration certificate
  6. Character certificate
  7. OMR form – college tuition
  8. Fare payment receipt

Kirori Mal College Principal Vibha Chauhan has reported, “If there is any problem reviewing the certificates, we are supposed to call the student and tell them to email their certificate to verify. Unless it is a very serious discrepancy, we will accept it, because these admissions, strictly speaking, are provisional until they physically come to the university with their documents ”.
