Kishor, who is Mamata’s key aide in West Bengal, who is at the polls, has claimed that he would leave the Twitter space if the BJP managed to cross double digits in the assembly elections scheduled for next year.

Unsurprisingly, Prashant Kishor’s claim elicited a strong response from an aggressive BJP, who is determined to end Mamata’s rule in Bengal.
Taking a look at Kishor, BJP said that the country will end up losing an electoral strategist after the West Bengal elections.

Kishor, who has been tied up by Mamata to improve Trinamool’s electoral prospects and secure her a third term as West Bengal’s chief minister, said she will leave Twitter if the saffron party does better than she had predicted.
“Despite all the hype amplified by a section of the supporting media, in reality, BJP will have a hard time crossing double digits in West Bengal,” he tweeted.
“Please save this tweet and if BJP does better, I must leave this space!” Kishor added.

Mamata’s Prashant Problems
The importance given to Prashant Kishor by Mamata banerjee he has been at the root of the rebellion at Trinamool, with many leaders questioning his interference in party affairs.
The open letter written by Suvendu Adhikari, who resigned from Trinamool to join the BJP, contained very strong words against the influence that Mamata Banerjee gave to the poll strategist.
Several other leaders have been outspoken against Prashant Kishore’s role in the Trinamool Congress.

Meanwhile, a day after Amit Shah completed his two-day Bengal tour, Mamata accused the Union Interior Minister of telling lies about the development of the state.
She described the figures given by him on the state’s position on various parameters as “garbage of lies.”
Speaking to reporters, the chief minister announced that she will visit Birbhum district on December 28 for an official meeting and will also lead a tour the following day.
At a press conference in Bolpur on Sunday, Shah attacked the Trinamool congressional government, claiming that West Bengal lags behind most of the country’s states on several parameters, except for corruption and extortion.
“I want to tell Amit ji that you are the interior minister and it is not in your best interest to spend lies provided by your party workers without cross-checking,” Banerjee said.
Pawar talks to Mamata; OPPN leaders support TMC
Mamata, who is embroiled in a bitter battle with the Center, received a much-needed boost on Monday when CPN Supreme Sharad Pawar joined several other opposition leaders to side with her against the BJP.
Trinamool congressional sources said on Monday that the party is considering organizing a mega rally by opposition leaders in Kolkata as part of its effort to shore up an anti-BJP front, but nothing has been finalized so far.

The three IPS officers were responsible for the security of the national president of the BJP, JP Nadda, whose convoy was attacked by alleged activists from the Trinamool Congress during his recent visit to West Bengal.
Banerjee, who is opposed to the Center’s move, expressed gratitude to these opposition leaders Sunday for expressing solidarity with the state on the issue.
