Union Minister Smriti Irani, known for interacting with her fans on social media, has once again posted an entertaining photo of her titled “Don’t Angry Me Look.” Ms. Irani presented the photo with #taazatuesdays. The image is a collage of an old photo of Ms. Irani as a sulky child and as an adult with a gloomy expression. Deputy Amethi’s Instagram post, who is one of the most active lawmakers on social media, has over 33,000 ‘likes’ in about two hours.
Smriti Irani’s humorous posts on Instagram are a regular feature. The minister shared a funny meme after testing positive for Covid. Announcing that she tested positive for coronavirus on October 28, Ms Irani wrote on Twitter: “It’s weird for me to search for words while making an announcement, so here I am keeping it simple: I’ve tested positive for #COVID and would ask whoever contacted me to get tested as soon as possible. ” She quickly followed up on Instagram with, “I’m so offended when my body decides to be sick. Like I gave you a vegetable last week. How dare you?”
“Just when I started eating my veggies …” he captioned the photo, adding: “Have Covid, you will fight.”
Ms. Irani’s humorous posts about the confinement were also highly appreciated. Like most of us, she’s also fed up with 2020. The year, which began with natural disasters and led to the pandemic, has tested everyone’s patience. She shared a collage of five images summarizing everyone’s mood in 2020. “When are you waiting for 2020 to end,” she wrote while sharing the photos that have the ‘I’ve had enough’ look.
Smriti Irani’s hilarious post prompted several comments from Instagram users, including celebrities and former co-actors Mouni Roy and Mandira Bedi who had worked with her on Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
