Bussa Krishna, a staunch fan of US President Donald Trump, died of a heart attack on Sunday.
Krishna, 31, had erected a statue of Trumph on the premises of his home in the Konne village of Bachannapet Mandal in the Janagoan district of Telangana, and became a devotee of the President of the United States.
According to family members, Krishna was upset after hearing that Trump had been infected with Covid-19.
A few days ago, Krishna had filmed a video about Trump with tears in his eyes. In the video he said: “Trump is my God. I am praying to all the gods for the speedy recovery of Trump and Melania Trump.”
“He did special poojas to quickly recover from Trump when he was in the hospital. Daily, he would bathe in the river wearing the T-shirt with Trump’s photograph on it,” said a friend of Krishna.
On Sunday, he suffered a heart attack and was rushed to the government hospital in Toopran by members of his family. Doctors pronounced him dead before he reached the hospital.
Krishna’s wife passed away a few years ago, and is currently survived by a seven-year-old son, Rushi.
