Alankrita Srivastava couldn’t have chosen a better setting than Greater Noida for his Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare. Steeped in a toxic patriarchy, it makes the rebellion of its two main protagonists, Dolly (Konkona Sen Sharma) and Kitty (Bhumi Pednekar), that much cruder and indeed necessary.
