Coronavirus cases in India approached 60,000 marks today. States added more than 3,000 new cases of coronavirus for the third consecutive day. On the positive side, India improved its recovery rate. About 29.9% of the total cases, 17,847 people, were cured of COVID-19 infection. Kerala had a recovery rate of over 95%. Of 503 patients, 484 recovered from the disease.
The Center dedicated 843 hospitals, exclusively for patients with COVID-19. Across the country, there are 1,991 dedicated COVID-19 health centers with a capacity of 1.35,643 beds, Harsh Vardhan said.
