Diwali celebrations may be understated in Bollywood this year, but they more than made up for the glitz and glamor. Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, sisters Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi were among those who shared their festive looks as they took a look at their celebrations.
“Messy hair and messiest makeup from ME Happy Diwali @manishmalhotraworld,” Janhvi wrote while sharing her look. Dressed in a yellow sari with gold embroidery. Khushi chose a dark blue ensemble with gold details. The two were seen with Father Boney Kapoor as they went to the Diwali puja in his office.
Janhvi also posted two photos with Khushi on Sunday, writing, “The days when I don’t bother my sister are incomplete days.”
Salman Khan also shared his holiday wishes with a photo of him wearing a kurta. “Wishing everyone a Happy Independence Day in a prosperous new year … stay safe,” he wrote. Katrina, dressed in a magenta sari with Diwali lights around her, wrote: “Shubh Dipawali, love and light to all.”
Ananya Pandey was seen with Father Chunky Pandey when they went out to attend Bunty Sajdeh’s party. Ananya was seen wearing a beautiful pink lehenga for the occasion.
Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit Nene, on the other hand, was seen splashing sparks on social media with a video of herself that had the sparkling festive filter.
“May the lamps of joy illuminate your life with bright flashes of peace and prosperity #HappyDiwali,” she tweeted along with the video that sees her enjoying the screen-filling glow in her video.
Actor-turned-producer Ajay Devgn celebrated Diwali without his wife Kajol and daughter Nysa. He previously dedicated this Diwali year to the Indian Army officers who keep the country safe.
“Deepavali, the Festival of Lights and joy is here. I wish you all a happy, peaceful and safe Diwali! This one is especially for the Indian Army, which makes it possible for the rest of us to be safe # HappyDiwali, ”he wrote in an Instagram post.
