Disney + Hotstar is the exclusive streaming partner for IPL 2020 this year, and hours before the first game, the streaming service has announced an offer for all potential subscribers. As part of the new offer, Disney + Hotstar is offering an additional month of access for all new annual VIP subscribers. This means that if users buy the annual Disney + Hotstar VIP subscription, they will get an additional 30 days of subscription for free. This offer has been introduced for this weekend only.
This new Disney + Hostar offer was inserted by actor Rana Daggubati on Twitter. Daggubati shared a unique link that allows users to purchase Disney + Hotstar’s annual VIP subscription with the 30-day bonus offer. This means that users will enjoy 13 months of subscription and not 12 months as it usually happens. This is only applicable if the annual membership is purchased through this unique link during the weekend.
Once you click on the link, you will be asked for your account details and then the additional 30-day offer will be applied automatically at checkout. Users can pay via UPI, debit or credit card or netbanking.
The Disney + Hotsar VIP subscription is priced at Rs. 399 for the whole year. Includes live stream access to Dream 11 IPL matches, IPL 2021 matches, English Premier League matches, Formula One matches and more. It also offers access to seven multiplex blockbusters, exclusive Hotstar specials, content dubbed Disney + and Star series before they air on television. The Disney + Hotstar Premium membership which is priced at Rs. 1,499 for the year also offers access to the latest American shows and movies without ads and minutes after they air in the home region. It also offers Disney + originals, shows, movies and children’s content without dubbing.
In addition to purchasing the Disney + Hotstar subscription separately, you can also opt for specific prepaid plans from Jio and Airtel that also include an annual Disney + Hotstar VIP subscription. A total of 60 matches will be played over the course of the 2020 IPL tournament starting today. The first match will take place between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
