Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh has been in the headlines since his Twitter feud with actor Kangana Ranaut went viral.

Now the singer has reportedly donated Rs 1 crore to buy warm clothes for the protesters.

Diljit has been a vocal supporter of farmers.

Punjabi singer Singga revealed on his verified Instagram account that Diljit donated Rs 1 crore to the cause without doing much about it.

Expressing his gratitude, Singga said in Punjabi: “Thank you brother, you gave Rs 1 crore for the farmers, for their warm clothes, and no one knows. You didn’t post about it. Today people can’t shut up after donating 10 rupees. “

On Saturday, Diljit was seen at farmers’ protests on the Delhi border and urged the government to comply with their demands.

Meanwhile, addressing the farmers on the Singhu border, he said: “My hat is off to all of you farmers, you have created a new story. This story would be told to future generations. Farmers’ problems should not be diverted by anyone. “

“We only have one request from the Center … please meet the demands of our farmers. Everyone is sitting here in peace and the whole country is with the farmers. This agitation is about farmers. Things are twisted on Twitter but the truth is that the peasants are protesting peacefully, here no one talks about bloodshed, “he concluded.
