Actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh has shared a post about how farmers are criticized for making pizzas in their protests. Diljit has spoken of the irony of how farmers treat themselves to pizzas in more headlines than when they commit suicide.
Diljit shared a post on Twitter that read: “Farmers who consume poison were never a concern, but farmers who eat pizza are news.” He added: “Very good. Your heart must hurt a lot, right?
Diljit has been one of the most vocal supporters of the farmers’ protests. He has been sharing periodicals and updates on the protest, calling on the authorities to solve the farmers’ problems as soon as possible.
Recently, he was also involved in a Twitter dispute with actor Kangana Ranaut. Their feud began on December 3 when he referenced a tweet posted by her earlier, in which he misidentified an elderly woman at the ongoing farmers’ protest as Bilkis Bano, the face of the Shaheen Bagh protests. After stating that Bilkis was ‘available (for rent) at 100 rupees’, Kangana deleted the tweet. Diljit called her out for spreading misinformation and for “saying anything.” His tweets lead to a massive dispute on Twitter. Diljit kept tweeting in Punjabi, telling Kangana to Google the meaning of her words.

Last week, Kangana also started trending ‘Diljit Kitthe Aa (Where’s Diljit?)’ On Twitter. He pointed his guns at Priyanka Chopra and Diljit and wrote: “The problem is not just them, but each and every one of those who support and oppose # FarmersBill_2020 is aware of how important this bill is to the farmers, but provoke innocent farmers to incite violence. I hate and Bharat Band for their paltry profits. “Kangana also claimed that Diljit and Priyanka were” misleading and encouraged farmers’ protests “but would be” hailed by the left-wing media “and rewarded.
