Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi was recently arrested by officials. She was asked to undergo a medical test to see if she was using drugs. According to the latest reports, the actress allegedly tried to sabotage her drug test results by mixing water into the urine sample that was being taken for testing.
The actress reportedly mixed her sample with water and KC General Hospital in Malleswaram on Thursday. Doctors recognized water in her urine sample and called it a bluff. A Central Crime Division officer who is with the investigation team confirmed the same, read a report in the Deccan Herald. Ragini Dwivedi is one of the high profile celebrities who have been arrested at the sandalwood drug exposure. On Friday, Ragini’s bail statement was heard in city court. The court rejected her statement and sent her to police custody. Along with Ragini, Sanjana Galrani has also been arrested. The two have been charged with drug trafficking. Ravi Shankar, Rahul Shetty, Niyaz and Loum Pepper Samba are also in police custody and will remain until September 14.
Meanwhile, Sajana Galrani had refused to give blood samples saying that it was her fundamental right to say no. In one video, the actress could be seen saying: “I have lost confidence in the police. I don’t know why they arrested me. I asked you with folded hands, you are not telling me why. Even if I give blood tests, I do not trust that the blood is mine, my lawyers told me to say ‘no’. It is my fundamental right to say no. No one can force me to give blood samples. You have tricked me into coming here. There is no evidence on me Against, I did nothing wrong. Just because we talk to each other on the phone does not mean that he is involved in the crime. ”
