As the Kapil Sharma Show is trending on social media amid rumors that comedian Bharti Singh has been removed from the show after the arrest of her and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa on a drug-related charge, her colleague Krushna Abhishek has responded. In a heavily redacted interview, Krushna not only said that the rumors were false, but also emphasized that he and host Kapil Sharma are with Bharti.
Bharti and Haarsh were arrested by the Office of Narcotics Control on the charge of possession of marijuana or cannabis. The NCB had allegedly seized 86.5 g of cannabis during a search of his suburban Andheri home and Versova production home. They were later released on bail.
It is now reported that the channel decided to remove Bharti from the show. Kiku Sharda had said that he was not aware of the development. “I haven’t heard of her not being part of the program. He just wasn’t on set yesterday and that’s it, “he had said.
Krushna was more emphatic in his answers. “I have not heard of such discussion or development since the end of the channel. The channel has not made such a decision. We support Bharti and both Kapil (Sharma) and I are with her. He has my unconditional support, ”he told the Times of India in an interview.
He said he is proud to call Bharti his sister, who has supported him his entire life. He also said that the entire Kapil Sharma Show team is upset with comedian Raju Srivastava for the way he spoke about Bharti after his arrest: “Raju Srivastava ne toh bohot hi bakwaas kee hai. What he said was shocking. Usne life ke liye relationship kharaab kar liya hai sabke saath. Poori team hamaari naraaz hai usse for the comment he made (the ‘TKSS’ team is very upset with him) ”, he said.
