Cricket player Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s farm security has been stepped up after his five-year-old daughter, Ziva, was threatened with rape following the beating of Chennai Super King in the IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Former Indian captain Dhoni is currently in the United Arab Emirates, where the Indian Premier League is underway and the CSK team has not been able to perform well in the series. His wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva are on their farm in Ranchi.

The disturbing threats to Dhoni’s daughter came after CSK, led by Dhoni, failed to pursue the 168-run goal against KKR and lost the match on Tuesday. Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav were on the receiving end of trolls on social media after CSK failed to chase the 168 target set by KKR at Sheikh Zayed Stadium.

These were not just any threats; they were threats of rape and physical violence. The threats appeared on the Instagram accounts of Dhoni and his wife Sakshi after Wednesday’s loss.
The police’s cyber cell unit is also investigating the case to target people who posted deplorable comments on social media.
“The frequency of patrols near the Dhoni farm has increased. We closely monitor the movement of suspicious items near the house. In addition to that, a reserve platoon has also been kept at a certain distance from their hamlet to face any requirement, ”TNIE told SP Rural Naushad Alam.
After Dhoni fell to Chakravarthy 11 (12) in the 17th, CSK still needed 39 of 21. Kedar Jadhav, on the other hand, struggled to center the ball, scoring an undefeated but turtle pace 7 of 12.
