The Prime Minister’s Office scrambled to issue an explanation, but the Congress took it to mean that Indian territory was cited for China.
Mr. Gandhi on Sunday described PM Modi as “Surendra” Modi and yesterday, posted a report from the Chinese mouthpiece Global Times praising the Prime Minister for his remarks.
Earlier today, Mr. Gandhi once again questioned whether the Indian territory had been handed over to China.
