Jathebandis on the Singhu border said Monday that they will continue to maintain their position at the borders.

Their stance on the three laws, the ordinance and the energy law is “non-negotiable”, they said, asking Prime Minister Narendra Modi to listen to farmers ‘maan ki baat’ or the government “will have to pay dearly.”

“Our only demand is that these laws be withdrawn … it is non-negotiable and we will make sure it happens,” added leaders of several Kisan Sangathan, at a press conference on the Singhu border.

“So far no formal invitation meeting has been sent for December 1,” they said, adding that they will go to the meeting but with the conditions that have been set.

Farmers also received support from transporter associations and khap panchayats in Haryana.
