A little boy was miraculously saved after falling from the 12th floor of his building.

A delivery driver in Vietnam has been hailed as a hero for taking action to save a boy who fell from the balcony on the 12th floor of his building. Nguyen Ngoc Manh, 31, was sitting in his van waiting to deliver a package in Hanoi when he heard a girl cry, Daily Mail reports. The incident happened on Sunday around 4.30 p.m. At first, Manh thought it was a boy. he was having a tantrum, until he heard other people yelling.

He rolled down the window and saw the two-year-old dangling from the 12th floor, about to fall.

The father-of-two jumped into action and scaled the six-foot wall that separated him and the building the boy was hanging from.

“I scaled the wall and saw that it could fall onto the metal roof of the house that was used to store the complex’s electric generators, so I tried to climb on top of it,” he told VN Express International. Although he managed to climb onto the roof, Mr. Manh lost his balance and slipped when the girl rushed from his balcony.

Miraculously, he managed to grab her and she landed on his lap. The impact of the fall was such that it left a dent in the roof.

Creepy footage of the incident has gone viral on social media, with many praising the delivery driver for his speed and bravery.

The entire ordeal lasted two minutes and the girl was rushed to the hospital. A doctor said Monday morning that he had dislocated his hip but had no other injuries. You will now wear a cast until you recover.

Mr. Manh, meanwhile, suffered a sprained arm. “It all happened in a minute,” he told VN Express, adding that he acted instinctively to save the girl.

Referring to the praise he has received on social media, he said: “I don’t see myself as a hero. I just want to do good.”
