Delhi records worst single-day peak at Covid-19 cases, the count of the violations of 66,000

With about 4,000 new cases, Delhi on Tuesday witnessed the highest single day peak at the new coronavirus cases every time, taking the Covid-19 to count in the national capital of more than 66,000.

A total of 3,947 fresh coronavirus cases reported in the last 24 hours, the total number of positive patients in the country’s capital was shot to 66,602, according to the authorities concerned.

Along with that, the number of deaths also increased to 2,301 after 68 more virus-related deaths were reported in the capital of the country since Monday, the authorities added.

In a series of tweets, Shah also said that a 1,000-bed full-fledged hospital with 250-bed ICU is currently being developed for COVID-19 patients and the facility, to be staffed by personnel of the armed forces, will be ready in the next 10 days.

A total of 8,000 additional beds have already been placed on the Delhi government’s willingness to do COVID care centers, as per requirement, he said.

Meanwhile, under the Prime Minister of the citizenship of the Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) Fund of Delhi received 275 “Made in India” fans of Center.

The Center’s funding has been allocated 2,000 crore for the supply of 50,000 such fans for the government to run Covid-19 hospitals in the states and Territories of the Union. Of these, 2,923 fans have been manufactured, while 1,340 fans have been delivered to various states and UTs.
