Delhi Chief Deputy Minister Manish Sisodia announced on Wednesday the addition of more than 1,300 new positions for nine courses at the IP University this year.
“Although the crown continues to affect daily life, there is good news for students who graduated from school this year and want to pursue a higher education,” Sisodia announced during a press conference.
“The Delhi government has added 1,330 new seats for nine existing courses at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP) for the 2020-21 academic session,” he added.
The new positions will be added to the universities affiliated with the PI University, to nine existing courses at the undergraduate and graduate level.
“Of these 1,330 seats, the maximum number of seats has been allocated to B.tech with a total of 630 seats,” said Sisodia. The additional places for the nine courses have been assigned to: B.Voc (20 places), BBA (120 places), B.com (220 places), BA Economics (120 places), BCA (90 places), MBA (60 places) squares), Msc. Yoga (15 seats) and M.Voc (55 seats).
“The (introduction of) additional seats is an effort to provide new opportunities for students during an extremely difficult year,” Sisodia said.
