Delhi Capitals wins final race against SRH, will play Mumbai Indians for IPL trophy

Race to the final of Dream11 IPL 2020: Delhi Capitals won the Race to the Finals against Sunrisers Hyderabad. In Qualifer 2 DC defeated SRH by 17 runs. This is the first time in the 13-year history of the IPL that the Delhi team reached the final of the Indian Premier League. Delhi Capitals will now play the defending champions the Mumbai Indians for the title and the 2020 IPL trophy on November 10.

For the Sunrisers, Kane Williamson once again did his best to lead SRH and surpass DC’s total with a brilliant 67-run hit from 45 balls, but that wasn’t enough. For the winners, Rabada was again the bowlers’ choice with 4 wickets for 29 runs.

Dhawan-Stoinis’ new inaugural couple shine: Delhi Capitals are off to a brilliant start in the race against Sunrisers Hyderabad. They first surprised SRH by heading out into the park with a new opening pair from Marcus Stoinis and Shikhar Dhawan. The Stoinis-Dhawan duo gave a brilliant start to DC innings as they added 82 runs in just 8.1 overs. Stoinis scored 38 of just 25 balls before Rashid Khan sent him back to the pavilion.

Shikhar scored his 50 on just 26 balls and eventually scored 78 of the 50 balls to give DC innings a huge boost. Shimron Hetmyer also contributed well with 22 balls 42.
