Pitching first in the Super Over, South African pacemaker from Delhi Kagiso Rabada kept his cool to catch two wickets and concede just a couple of runs to the KL Rahul team. Chasing, Delhi easily chased down the three-race target to start his campaign with a thrilling victory. Earlier in the match proper, the heroic deeds of KXIP starter Mayank Agarwal (89 of 60) were in vain, as his team failed to exceed the 158-run goal in 20 overs, and the contest entered the Super Over.
