NEW DELHI: Congress Leader Jairam Ramesh offered an apology on Saturday to Vivek Doval, son of the national security adviser Ajit doval, before a Delhi court in connection with a criminal defamation case. The criminal complaint for defamation had been filed by Vivek against a magazine and the veteran of Congress for allegedly defaming him through a Article followed by a press conference based on him.

Therefore, I would like to offer my apologies to you and your family for any harm the statements may have caused. I would also ask the INC to remove the press conference, available on its website, ”Ramesh said.
