The video went viral after Deepika Padukone was questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday after her name came up in the agency’s investigation. The actress was questioned about her 2017 talks with her manager, Karishma, in which the two discussed drugs.
The OCN had sent subpoenas to Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh on September 23. Deepika was in Goa at the time the summons was sent to her. The actress returned to Mumbai along with her husband, actor Ranveer Singh on September 24.
The NCB is investigating the angle of drugs in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput. Along with Deepika, actresses Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan were also questioned by the NCB.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14. The case of the actor’s death is being investigated by the NCB, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Directorate of Enforcement.
