JALANDHAR: Posting “live” on social media to refute accusations made by Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) that he degraded the farmers’ uproar by fomenting violence, Punjab actor turned activist Deep sidhu on Thursday he said his leaders would not know where to hide if he began to reveal “his secrets.”
“You have blatantly blamed me. People came (for the tractor parade in Delhi) with determination based on their decision. People followed your words. How could hundreds of thousands of people be under my control? If I could provoke lakhs, where are you at? You said that Deep Sidhu has no followers or contributions; So how do you say I got thousands of people there? Sidhu, who claimed he was still near the Singhu border, asked on Facebook Live around 2 am.
Sidhu, who has been appointed to the Delhi Police FIR in connection with the riots in the Red Fort on R-Day, said the only reason he refrained from revealing further was his commitment to the aim of the agitation of Farmers: get the new farm laws repealed. Denying that there was violence in the Red Fort, he said that the protesters who were there deserved support rather than condemnation.
“If the peasant leaders had taken a position to celebrate the people who came to Red Ford, they could have put more pressure on the government … We woke up the government on November 26 when we crossed the barricades and woke up the government again on 26 January. But you don’t understand it. ”
On the SKM leadership’s claim that he was an RSS agent, he said: “Will an RSS or BJP puppet fix the Nishan Sahib there or someone who wants to fight in the elections? In fact, he is calling everyone who came there traitors. Bring out your bad intention. ”
