S Sreesanth feels England’s captain with limited overs, Eoin Morgan, should be leading the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) franchise instead of Dinesh Karthik. His comments came as KKR suffered an 18-run loss to Delhi Capitals in the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) on Saturday at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. In the match against Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals scored 228 of four in the assigned 20 overs and then restricted their opponents to 210 of eight, winning the match by 18 runs.

Morgan came in at bat at number six for KKR and when he walked to the fold, KKR still needed 112 runs for the 43-ball victory. Morgan and Tripathi forged a 78-run position to revive KKR’s hopes of winning the match.
Morgan was sacked for 44 on the penultimate lap by Anrich Nortje, but Tripathi was still there for KKR in the final, as the team needed 26 races to win. However, in the last over, Marcus Stoinis hit a clean shot to Tripathi (36) to give Delhi an 18-run win.

Dinesh Karthik had come out to bat for KKR at number five, but was able to score just six runs. In the tournament so far, Karthik has played four games, scoring a total of 37 runs.
In the match against KKR, Prithvi Shaw and Shreyas Iyer battled for Delhi. Iyer played an 88-run knockout while Shaw broke 66. The starting pairing of Shikhar Dhawan and Shaw had also recorded 56 runs in the first five overs. Finally, Delhi recorded a total of a total of matches won on board.
