A 65-year-old Dalit man was reportedly assaulted and forced to drink urine in the village of Roda in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, by a man against whom he had lodged a police complaint.
The defendant, Sonu Yadav, allegedly attacked the victim’s son a few days ago with an ax. After the father and son approached the police, Yadav allegedly forced them to resolve the matter and withdraw their complaint.
