Jos Buttler, a hitter for the Rajasthan Royals, scored a half-century undefeated against the Chennai Super Kings to help his team secure two crucial points on Monday. For his heroics with the bat (70 not out), Buttler was voted man of the match at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. After the victory, Buttler was seen posing with a “prized possession” that he received from former India captain MS Dhoni. The most prized possession was MS Dhoni’s CSK jersey. The official Indian Premier League Twitter user posted a photo of the Englishman posing in the CSK jersey after RR’s victory on seven grounds that saw them climb to fifth place on the points table. “Buttler smiles with a prized possession,” he captioned the official IPL username on Twitter.

In the game, CSK won the toss and opted to hit. The decision fell through when Jofra Archer returned fit Faf du Plessis in the third over.
Shane Watson hit a pair of limits off Kartik Tyagi in the next over, but was fired on the third ball he faced.
Sam Curran and Ambati Rayudu stabilized the boat for CSK, but were unable to capitalize on the start they both got.
Curran fell for 22 as Rayudu finished off a sweep shot off Rahul Tewatia. Scored 13 runs from 19 deliveries.

MS Dhoni, playing his 200th IPL match, scored 28 runs. It was once again the late bloom of Ravindra Jadeja that brought CSK to a respectable 125/5 total at the end of 20 overs.
Deepak Chahar and Josh Hazlewood picked up early terrain and Rajasthan staggered three of 28 in one stage, but Steve Smith and Jos Buttler weathered the storm and went undefeated in 98 races to bring their team home.
