GWALIOR: Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar reiterated on Sunday that the Center was ready to speak with farmers protesting against the new agricultural laws and said that the mere gathering of people does not lead to repeal of the laws.
He urged the agitated agricultural unions to tell the government what provisions of these new laws they find against farmers.
“Considering the issue sensitively, the government has held 12 rounds of talks with farmers’ unions. But decisions could be made based on the talks when objections are raised (to the new farm laws),” said the Minister of Agriculture. reporters here. when asked about the protest.
