Krunal was part of the Mumbai Indians team that won its fifth record IPL title on November 10, defeating Capitals of Delhi in the final match in Dubai.
Krunal, however, had a below-average start in the IPL 2020 scoring 109 runs and taking just six wickets in 16 games.
The all-rounder has played 71 games for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL. He was man of the match in the 2017 IPL final and helped the Mumbai Indians defeat the Rising Pune Supergiant to claim their third title.
