Jammu: Border Security Force (BSF) troops thwarted an attempt on Sunday to smuggle weapons, ammunition and narcotics from Pakistan to India in the Arnia area along the international border on the middle night of 19-20 September.

The BSF recovered 2 pistols, 4 magazines and ammunition along with narcotics during a search of the area, according to a statement. 50 kg heroin was also recovered from the RS Pura sector.
