Covid cases in India exceed 88 Lakh with 41,100 fresh infections in one day

India’s coronavirus count has touched 88.14 lakh with a jump of 41,100 cases in the past 24 hours, government data shows. 447 deaths in the past 24 hours have raised the total Covid-related death count to 1,29,635. 82.05,728 people in the country have recovered since the outbreak in India in January. The country has been reporting a steady decline in its daily coronavirus infections after reaching a peak of about 90,000 cases per day in September. India has the second highest coronavirus infection count in the world after the US.
