Every day since Sunday, India has detected more than 5,000 new cases of new Coronavirus infections. This appears to have become the new normal for the 3,500 to 3,800 cases that were reported every day for about a week before that. On Tuesday, more than 5,200 new cases were discovered, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in India to more than 1.05 lakh.

One of the reasons for the increase in the number of cases that are detected every day is the continuous load of continuous expansion. A higher number of basal cases will lead to a greater number of new infections every day, even if there is no sudden increase. Thus, while the absolute number of new infections has steadily increased, the growth rate in new cases has remained more or less unchanged. In fact, it has even slowed down in between.

Another reason for the new cases shooting up could be the impact of announced relaxations in the running of the bulls Large-scale movement of people in recent days has led to the spread of the disease in new populations. This is evidenced by the fact that states like Bihar and Odisha, which are receive large numbers of workers Returning from other places, they have seen a sharp increase in cases in recent days. Also in other states, people on the go contribute significantly to their daily numbers in the past ten days.

On Tuesday, more than 5,200 new cases were discovered, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in India to more than 1.05 lakh.

But, the increase in new infections is also due to improved testing. India has been testing more and more every day, and it is well established that as more tests are carried out, more cases will be detected. This is because the majority of infected people are asymptomatic, which means they show no symptoms of the disease, and can only be detected by testing. But they are just as likely to infect others as those with symptoms. That is why experts and scientists continue to emphasize the need for more evidence.

India’s test numbers have been increasing steadily, but on Sunday, for the first time, more than one lakh of samples were analyzed in a single day. It was followed by 1.08 lakh tests on Monday. India has so far tested more than 2.5 million samples.
