India has recorded more daily Covid-19 recoveries than daily new cases for six consecutive weeks, government data shows. “India has continued the uninterrupted trend of new daily rallies surpassing daily new additions by the 44th day. A total of 43,851 Covid-19 patients recovered Monday from just 30,548 newly detected cases. This translates into a net reduction of 13,303 in the number of active cases that now stands at 465,478, ”said the statement from the Ministry of Health.
In addition, the decrease in new daily cases of Covid-19 in the country continues. “The daily new cases totaling 30,548 is an all-time low that acquires importance, given that many countries in Europe and America are experiencing a continuous and pronounced increase in daily new cases. Efforts by the government to continue maintaining high levels of comprehensive testing have resulted in reducing net positivity to sustained low levels, ”the Health Ministry said.
