Authorities at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Administration Academy (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie of Uttarakhand have said that 33 officers training at the institute have tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19). The academy was sealed off for two days on Saturday after officers found positive for Covid-19, according to the ANI news agency. The officers found to be infected were quarantined and 150 people were examined, while the remaining personnel were also investigated. “A team from the health department has been dispatched to the academy campus from Dehradun. Medicines and other essential items have also been sent, ”said Dehradun District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Srivastav, according to the ANI news agency.
All officers participating in the four-month basic course are new members of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), the Indian Police Service (IPS), the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and cadets from various other central government services. .
There are 4,674 active cases of Covid-19 in Uttarakhand, 64,393 people have recovered so far, and 1,138 have succumbed, bringing the total to 70,205, according to data released by the Uttarakhand government.
