The court has given Kangana Ranaut six weeks to address the Bombay High Court against the order.

Actress Kangana Ranaut violated the sanctioned plan by merging her three floors, a civil court has noted by rejecting her request to stop the Mumbai civic body from demolishing the unauthorized construction.
A court in the suburbs of Dindoshi dismissed an application filed by Ms. Ranaut last week. The detailed order became available Thursday.
Judge LS Chavan noted in the order that Ms. Ranaut, the owner of three floors on the fifth floor of a 16-story building in the Khar area of the city, merged them into one.
In doing so, it covered the sunken area, the duct area, the common passage and converted the Free Floor Space Index (FSI) to a habitable area, the judge noted.
“This is a serious violation of the sanctioned plan for which the permission of the competent authority is required,” the court said.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had issued a notice to the actor in March 2018 for “unauthorized construction” on his Khar flats.
Another notice asked him to restore the structure to its original position according to the original plan, warning that otherwise the unauthorized part would be demolished.
Ms. Ranaut challenged the demolition notice and asked the court to prevent the civic body from carrying out the demolition. The court then ordered the status quo.
In the last order of December 23, Judge Chavan rejected the actor’s request, saying that “interference from this court is not required.”
However, the court has given him six weeks to go to Bombay High Court against the order.
On September 9, the BMC demolished parts of Ms. Ranaut’s bungalow in the Pali Hill area for alleged “unauthorized” construction. He moved the Superior Court against him.
Later, the higher court called BMC’s action illegal and malicious.
