Class 10 and 12 board exams have been granted exemption from the measures of blocking and these can be carried out, the Minister of the interior Amit Shah, said on Wednesday, adding that the special buses for students will be organized by the respective state governments.
“Taking into consideration the academic interests of a large number of students, it has been decided to grant exemption from blocking of measures to conduct the Board exams for Classes 10 and 12,” Amit Shah twitter.
The interior Minister said that some conditions – such as social distancing, the use of the hand sanitisers and the use of masks for the face – would be mandatory. States must arrange for special buses to carry students to and from the exam centres, he said.

Mr. Shah attached a letter from the Union home Secretary, Ajay Bhalla to their counterparts in the state, in which said thermal-detection is mandatory in all exam centres and the exam schedules would be staggered.
The government has also said that there are no centres of examination will be allowed in areas of containment.
On Monday, the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Examinations) said: 29 the slope of the examinations for the two classes that would take place between July 1 and July 15.
“The Class 10 exams will be phased in over four dates starting on 1 July. First paper will be of Social Science, while the next day the students will be required to appear for the Science exam,” Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examination, CBSE, said.
The results are likely to be announced in August, shortly before the Indian Institutes of Technology (Iit) declare the entry test results.
Six of the Class 10 and twelve of the Class 12 examinations had been postponed after the coronavirus lock, while the other Class 10 exams were deferred after the violence that broke out in parts of Delhi in February.
Schools across the country have been closed since mid-March, when the center announced a security lock to break the COVID-19 of the chain of transmission. The lock, now extended until 31 May, is being built in phases with a series of activities permitted in “green” areas.
However, the educational institutions are not among those who can re-open yet.
