India Coronavirus Latest Updates (State-Wise): The total number of positive cases of Coronavirus in India rises to 24,942, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Saturday, April 25. There are 18,953 active cases, while 5,210 people have been cured / discharged / migrated. The death toll is 779. In positive news, the average doubling rate of COVID-19 cases in the country is 9.1 days from now and from Friday from 8 am to Saturday at 8 am India recorded a 6 percent growth in new cases, which is the lowest daily growth rate on record since the country crossed 100 cases, the PTI news agency reported, citing the Union Ministry of Health.
The Interior Ministry today issued a clarification on the order allowing the opening of stores. An MHA statement said: “In rural areas, all stores except those in shopping malls can open. In urban areas, all independent stores, neighborhood stores and stores in residential complexes can open. ” Furthermore, he said that, as specified in the revised consolidated guidelines, these stores will not be allowed to open in areas, either rural or urban, that the respective States / UTs declare as containment zones. Store openings are not permitted in markets / market complexes and shopping malls. It is clarified that the sale by e-commerce companies will continue to be allowed only for essential goods. It was also clarified that the sale of liquor and other items is still prohibited, he added.
