‘Coolie No 1’ The couple Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan dance with the heart in the song ‘Teri Bhabhi’

The creators of Coolie No 1 have released the first track, titled Teri Bhabhi, from the upcoming remake. While the original 1995 movie with Govinda and Karishma Kapoor was a winner on the music front, the 2020 version also seems to bet heavily on song and dance for the entertainment quotient.

In Teri Bhabhi’s song, director David Dhawan goes out of his way for the value of the production as we see the background dancers in large numbers and grandiose and elaborate sets are erected for the artists to perform. Additionally, Sara’s costume, which was designed by Manish Malhotra, also adds spice to the dance number as she moves to the rhythms full of life as if no one is watching. Varun puts his heart into acting and uses his dance skills to woo fans. Rest assured, Teri Bhabhi’s song will have you wanting more from upcoming comedy artist Coolie No. 1, hitting Amazon Prime Video on December 25.

Recently, actor Shakti Kapoor, who appeared in the original Coolie No. 1 in a pivotal role, had shared that he wanted to be part of the remake and that he was late calling the director and the casting had been finalized until then. During promotional interviews, Varun has even shared that his version of the film is different from the original. Sara has also maintained that she has not tried to copy Karishma Kapoor and brings her own element to the film.
